Eric & Cleopatra archiveUncle Eric and his brilliant gang of singers, actors and musicians are back with their brand-new show. It's an ancient Roman spectacular filled with comedy, sandals and the greatest hits of the 1960s. Back we go into the mists of time to meet Uncle Eric's ancestor among the Ancient Britons. Eric the Smith has been captured and taken as a slave to Rome where it is discovered that he is the spitting image of the great Mark Antony. Disguised as the Roman leader, he is sent to meet Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt and the world's most beautiful woman But Cleopatra looks remarkably like someone from Eric's murky past. Is it a bluff? Or a double bluff? Will Eric change the course of history forever? Will Mark Antony get the hump? How many 'asp' jokes can we get in? And we reveal the little-known fact that the Ancient Romans loved 60s music!
