Details
A multi-narrative piece that unfolds detective style, dynamically moving from past to present, revealing characters' secrets, and unravelling the histories of children that have experienced separation - as evacuees, refugees or those who could not be cared for or simply were not wanted. The play is inspired by the fascinating history of the Foundling Hospital set-up in the mid 18th century to provide a home for babies that could not be cared for or were unwanted. A rich history packed with intrigue and drama - not to mention fascinating links to Handel, Hogarth, and many other artists of the day.
