Guts archiveWorld War II changes the lives of two families of fisher folk in Fraserburgh. Guts follows them as they learn to cope with new experiences that include an air raid, the black market, transferring to war work in a munitions factory and the harsh reality of rationing. At the same time, they find our how the ordinary events of daily life are subtly changed by the background of war - falling in love, pregnancy, getting dressed up for a party all take on a new shade of meaning.
