Karlstad archive"Because we'd all love to hear how he made you feel. How you were like the only man on earth to him. How he promised you everything. We'd all love to relive that." After their pimp goes missing, Karlstad looks at the consequences for the four male prostitutes in his care. Boots, Bunny, Buttons and Bounce endeavour to find out where Clarence, their beloved pimp, has gone. Each one pines for his affection, however their idyllic image of him is soon destroyed. The foursome's competitive rivalry comes to a head when Clarence's manipulation of each of them is revealed, exposing split loyalties and a world of obsessive love and deception. A candid yet funny exploration of controlling relationships - Karlstad touches on issues such as emotional manipulation and Stockholm syndrome, whilst also recounting the amusing sexual forays of its lead characters.
