Primitive - is a visceral dance performance created in response to an act of violence against a woman on the streets of London. A bystander, caught between observation and fear, is compelled by an intense primal urge to react. This robust dance work looks at what triggers violent action, what motivates one to harm another, what happens when you protect yourself and what happens when forced to intervene. Horatio & Me - A spoken word piece which tells the story of a single girl living alone with her cat in London. London is a notoriously single city. This story is just one example in millions of what it means to live the single life in this vibrant, amorphous, alternately faceless, rude, frustrating, amazing, diverse, creative and exhilarating city.
