Remodelled Lives archiveA poignant and sensitive drama based on the lives of The Queen Victoria Cottage Hospital's 'Guinea Pig Club'. The play tracks the experiences of WWII airmen in the Burns Centre and the men and women who cared for them, as they anticipate the end of the war and the reconstruction of their lives. The play brings to the forefront the irreversibly affects of war on a personal level. A necessary re-focus away from the 'politics' very much in centre stage today. Remodelled Lives is also a play about identity, as we witness man's confrontation with his new 'self' and with permanent disfigurement.
