Leanne works all night every night washing up in a fast food restaurant and sleeps all day every day in a small bedsit dreaming of how life could be better. She knows she's a failure because everybody tells her so. Next to her sink in the restaurant is a little window and through it she can see the dazzling and beautiful night sky. Looking out on the vast constellations an idea begins to take hold of her with a passion. She sees the escape route she craves. A pathway from the routine dullness of her life to a world of dreams and happy endings.
