Handing over your play can be hard but as a writer your responsibility doesn't end when you put your pen down. Julie-Anne will explore the difficult journey from programming to production including rewrites, casting, more rewrites, rehearsals, set, LX and sound design and when to put your foot down. Julie-Anne is an experienced director specialising in new writing and has directed productions at the Royal Court, Hampstead and The Bush Theatres in London, including the Peggy Ramsay Award winning play Yard by Kaite O'Reilly at The Bush Theatre.
