Her adaptation not only delivers the author's intention more faithfully than previous works but takes its allegory further than he could ever have imagined. The production is highly charged, challenging and awash with interacting undercurrents. Count Dracula's chilling abuse of power and money, mind games and sexual bullying are brought vividly into focus.
