Four people, Karen, Logan, Toni and Claire are kidnapped and held hostage in the cellar of a deranged stranger dressed as a scarecrow. Over a ten month period he subjects them to mental and physical torture. Sleep deprived, starved and dehydrated they do their best to survive by creating and living in false realities. As time goes by their torment increases, until one day Logan snaps and plans to escape. The only problem is how, and at what cost? Now back in society they face a different kind of torment. How have they been affected by their ordeal? Will they be able to face the pressure of being reintegrated by in to a normal life?
