The Tylwyth Teg archiveInspired by Welsh fairy stories and the art of storytelling and focusing on the wealth of lesser known and largely untouched stories collected from oral tradition in more recent years. Blending puppetry, song, masks and movement with a variety of unexpected styles drawn from different genres, times and places, from Butoh to Baroque dances, the production will explore a world where the mundane merges with the incredible and magic inhabits the wilderness beyond the garden gate. With shock and humour see what happened, when once, long ago, the lives of fairies and humans collided, overlapped and drifted apart again leaving the world a very different place. Suitable for adults and children over 8yrs.
