True Colours archiveA story about ignorance, loneliness, and what it really means to be British in modern society. Albert is a retired miner, Dewsbury born and bred. He feels that his community is changing and not for the better. Particularly regarding the Asian population- an attitude fuelled by his wife dying of a heart attack after being mugged by an Asian man. So when his new care worker, Janade, turns out to be Pakistani, sparks are bound to fly as both men find themselves confronting some very uncomfortable inner truths...
