An hilarious play which takes place on a single afternoon during the course of a football match. A match of vital importance for a third division team facing relegation. It will affect the lives and fortunes of the people associated with the club; in particular Gillian, who runs the office, and her association with Bernie, the club manager. By the end of the afternoon more than the future of the club has been decided.
