Lecture: Richard Dadd - Victorian Genius, Murderer and Lunatic Lecturer
T0 Richard Dadd was an established artist when, at the age of 26, he murdered his father. He was subsequently certified insane and spent the rest of his life in asylums where he continued to paint. He became known as the 'mad genius of Bedlam'.
