Maurice Riordan's first book of poems. A Word from the Loki, was published in 1995 and shortlisted for the TS Eliot prize. His second collection is due for publication next year. The Love Poems of Thomas Hardy. Spoken by Betty Mulcahy with Oliver Lewis on violin. With a unique talent for communicating the poets' moods and message to a wide variety of audiences, Betty Mulcahy's poetry presentations are internationally acclaimed. Her readings use a wide range of material from many periods. Musical interludes will be provided by violinist Oliver Lewis from a selection of traditional music.
