Heaven on Earth - Sublime Element/Celestial Dawning/Two Bye Two

Tayeb Benamara's Sublime Element is a chilled-out, meditative piece of soul-centring movement, danced to a backdrop of rich visual imagery from the natural world. A haven from the hubbub of 21st Century lifestyles, the choreography is designed to create a heavenly retreat and present the perfect progression from the urban to the utopian. Michael Joseph's Celestial Dawning is in choreographic contrast to Sublime Element but at the same time a natural continuation. A dynamic piece of dance, it maximises the dancers' undeniable athleticism and ability in a series of duets, trios and company work. Celestial Dawning embraces dance forms and styles of movement as eclectic as contemporary ballet, hip-hop and martial arts - all performed with a seductive strength.
