N'Faly Kouyate and Dunyakan

N'Faly Kouyate is a marvellous singer, kora player, storyteller and balofonist. In 1997, Peter Gabriel's Realworld Studios invited him to join their most successful ensemble, the Grammy award winning Afro Celt Sound System of which he has since become a permanent member. N'Faly own ensemble, Dunyakan "The Voice of the World" intermingles blues, world music, jazz and the traditional music of Guinea and uses traditional instruments such as the kora, djembe, balafon, as well as more traditional Western instruments such as the double bass and the contemporary drum kit.
