Broadway, Jeeves? - The Diary of a Theatrical Adventure

By Jeeves the musical written and directed by Alan Ayckbourn with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, was a sell-out hit when it premiered in Scarborough. Two years ago an American production was staged with Martin Jarvis in the title role, the only British actor in the company. Broadway, Jeeves? is the diary he kept of that tour. A study of triumphs, failures and inevitable chaos as the cast and crew ambitiously attempt to steer the production from Pittsburgh to Toronto, arriving on Broadway only days after the horrific events of 9/11.
