Joe Temperley Quartet featuring Dan Nimmer
"When you hear Joe's sound you love him, because he's so full of warmth and soul and feeling" (Wynton Marsalis). Temperley's baritone saxophone has been featured with Humphrey Lyttelton, Duke Ellington Orchestra and now Wynton Marsalis' Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Now 82, he's a legend on the New York scene. His golden sound and beautiful interpretations of classic tunes are a delight, especially when he's in the company of a top notch rhythm section featuring the brilliant pianist and fellow LCJO member, Dan Nimmer.
