This is the 1st of 3 'prequels' to the highly successful musical, 'Swansea Girls'. The story centres around two families from the Sandfields area of Swansea during the 2nd World War - in particular, childhood sweethearts Lizzie and Alfie - and how the war affects their futures. Over 3 years, we follow them through romance, tragedy, laughter and tears as the families struggle to cope with the horrors of war and the arrival of the GIs. The show contains 25 new songs, all written in the style of 40s popular music.
