World-renowned multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, and founding member of the Grammy-winning collective Snarky Puppy, Bill Laurance performs music from his eagerly-awaited new album Cables ? an entirely solo record centred on Laurance's unique and beautiful piano playing. The opening set comes from James Heather (signed to Coldcut's label Ahead of Our Time), one of the new school of ?post classical' artists flourishing in the wake of the long, steady, but recently accelerated success of figureheads like Max Richter and Nils Frahm.
