Details
In a remote farmhouse, in a place scarred by wars and unhealing resentments, a community busies itself with the timeless rituals of birth, marriage and death as one man hosts a wake for his mother and a wedding party for his niece. Time has been de-regulated here. As snow piles high over this farm and land, it buries the physical evidence of everything that has happened. Visitors drink and joke about the weather and the price of tin while ghosts quiz the living. Then THEY appear, as always, everywhere, even here. Never quite what they seem to be; gatecrashers at a stag party or avenging angels?
