Double Points: K is set against a soundtrack of dub step, electro and classical music. This explosive, sensual and dynamic duet combines the beauty of pure movement with the thrill of dancers pushing themselves to the edge. Two dancers seem drawn together in a unique universe, delicately balanced on the edge of time and space. Breaking free with an explosion of energy, the two find a new way to communicate, spiralling with split second timing around each other. As the energy and pace grows, the dancers seem to fly; elegantly at first and then strutting and rushing across the whole space. Supernova is the rare occurrence when dying stars vibrate like giant speakers before exploding in a spectacular blast. Taking inspiration from time, space, energy and matter, Rosie Kay translates huge cosmic ideas into the physical, the personal and the emotional.
