Details
A suitcase trailing family roll into new beginnings. Foreign, distorted and bright, the world resembles a haven of comfort. But as the walls and lives are peeled back, the community's murky environment is revealed. This miniature world of tiny inhabitants is manipulated by three performers using cameras to capture the action. A composer works seamlessly to add a live soundscape, edited in the moment to create a film of a city's rise and fall.
Feral is an innovative piece of visual theatre that combines puppetry, film and live sound to create and destroy a world in front of your eyes. Recommended for ages 13 plus. Rehearsed Reading. Together with members of his company Tortoise in a Nutshell (The Last Miner), Ross MacKay, presents a work in progress performance of Feral, a recreation of the London riots, using puppets in miniature. Ross MacKay was previously supported as a Bank of Scotland New Director.
