The Who archiveWith over 100 million records sold in a career that spans across five decades, The Who are widely considered to be one of the most influential and important bands of the 20th century. The Who's 50th Anniversary celebrations continue with a special return to the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The band's frontman and Teenage Cancer Trust patron Roger Daltrey is the driving force behind the series and is deligthed to be involved once again: "I'm always amazed by, and appreciative of, the support given to the charity by the new artists each year, who recognize the importance Teenage Cancer Trust's work. As well as increasing the charity's profile, the money the shows raise is invaluable in helping young people with cancer, and in return for that hard earned cash we always strive to put on some very special shows." Their special guest will be the legendary Wilko Johnson, returning to the Royal Albert Hall after playing a surprise performance last year with Roger Daltrey. The Who website.
