Comedians of the Third Age - Old Dogs, New Schtick, Great Gig archiveChris Orr is MC for the first Comedians of the Third Age show. The lineup includes Ronnie Golden - a musical comedy legend who has performed with Rik Mayall, French and Saunders and Barry Cryer amongst many others that we won't be listing as the rest of us need a look in! Also on the bill is Charmian Hughes who has been described as "mad Aunt on Acid" Dominion Post New Zealand, and "captivating, irresistible, lights up show" The Scotsman. Chris is returning to stand up after a break of thirty years (he's performed four successful tryout slots and is raring to go). In the hiatus he has continued to keep up comic skills by many improv performances. In 2017 he was the face of butter for Christmas (the glamour of showbiz). He has performed in many past comedy festivals including Brighton. In the 80s he was based in Manchester and was part of the thriving comedy and theatre scene there.
