Renowned Scottish Fiddler Alasdair Fraser formed the band Skyedance with top musicians in the diverse genres of Celtic, Baroque and Medieval music, many of whom played on his trail-blazing Dawn Dance album. Virtuosity meets vision as the six members unite their considerable creative spirits in original compositions which erase the boundaries between traditional Celtic and contemporary music. From rampaging reels to haunting airs, Skyedance presents music for both revelling and reflection. Bachue combines the much-admired musical telents of Corrina Hewat on Scottish harp/vocal and David Milligan on piano/guitar. Their respective backgrounds in traditional Scottish/Irish music, jazz and folk create a unique and inspiring sound. Bachue formed in 1995 and have since gone on to take festival audiences by storm nationwide, becoming one of the hottest properties on the Scottish music scene.
