San Diego weaves together a series of connecting and diverging stories and merges them into a single compelling narratives; stories of illegal immigrants, of pilots and of film stars, of the making of 'Band on the Run' and of playwright David Greig himself. Inspired by a trip to San Diego for the American premiere of one of his plays, San Diego takes a fresh look at modern society and examines the concept of 'home' and our need to belong.
