Ballet Cymru (formerly Independent Ballet Wales) are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature. Cold Rolling explores the ghosts and remnants of Ebbw Vale's rich industrial past and animates the various processes of steelmaking into vibrant choreography. Cerys Matthews' iconic album of Welsh Folk Music is the inspiration for TIR.
