In 1997, a freak storm exposed a containership at sea. With it, nearly five million pieces of Lego were lost to the power of the tide. Inspired by this true story, INKBLOC ensemble present their debut show Lego? Beach, a story about a community whose lives are broken and built with the snap of a Lego? block. Using original live music with haunting layered harmonies and found-sound, the company create a vibrant and vivid seaside town. Ensemble storytelling and movement collide, as the lives of the townspeople are woven together by the collective experience of a colourful community facing a very un-natural disaster.
