Since its humble beginnings in a cellar of the Oxford Union, The Oxford Revue has become one of the best-known student comedy groups in the country - starting the careers of Dudley Moore, Alan Bennett, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Rowan Atkinson to name but a few. The University of Oxford's premier sketch comedy troupe returns to the Playhouse for its annual showcase of some of the nation's top student-comedy talent. The inimitable Cambridge Footlights and the multi-award winning Durham Revue will each perform a set before the interval, which will be followed by the world-premiere of Oxford Revue: Wasted, the company's 2018 international touring show exploring the absurdity, soddenness, and desolation of today.
