Hatched is a series of fresh, new works-in-progress by artists who have a connection to the Albany. A one-man physical theatre performance packed with an intense narrative, Prison Game is the story of a young boy in primary school and the events that challenge him on his journey into adulthood. A biographical story from Marcus Hercules; this work has developed through real life accounts and genuine extraordinary experiences and pays great attention to the psychological effect on a person who has been institutionalised. The play focuses on what happens when a person is deep within the prison system and the subsequent reactions of those outside it. When prison is your world, how do you function within society? Prison Game is a gripping and at times chilling insight into the life of one of the first generation of ?starred up' criminals in the UK, and how prison can define a man. Running time: 1hr. Age 11+
