A long time ago, a King and Queen were blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby daughter. Her splendour was such that she was christened ?Beauty'. However, her life was cursed by an ancient witch, whose bitterness led her to place a spell on the young princess, condemning her to eternal sleep. As she lies dreaming, the world continues to turn... Specially commissioned by Aberystwyth Arts Centre, this new play with music remains faithful to the original stories of the beautiful princess who falls into a cursed sleep for one hundred years. It incorporates original song, dance, movement and story telling in a contemporary and fresh approach and will delight audiences young and old. A Christmas treat for the whole family.
