Details

loveisdead/¡VIVA LOVE! is the first piece of full-length work from Glasgow-based company Plazzo theatre. A physical exploration of non-romantic, social violence and human, personal and political relationships in a world where love, death, fear and joy are heavily interwoven. From Naples to Mexico City, a war becomes a football match, a football match becomes a riot, a riot becomes a tango, to the sound of distant vespas, blasting techno and Monteverdi madrigals. Nobody's good, nobody's evil, in a performance which is fast, rebellious and moving. With the support of the Italian Cultural Institute Edinburgh.
