Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of Italy's greatest composers, Giuseppe Verdi. With excerpts from Verdi's opera Nabucco Overture and Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves - the choir will join the baritone soloist in one of opera's greatest arias - Dio di Giuda. The first act concludes with the famous Easter Hymn from Cavelleria rusticana by Pietro Mascagni. The second act features Petite messe solonnelle by one of Verdi's greatest predecessor Gioachino Rossini - including a number of exhilarating choruses and operatic arias, duets and ensembles.
