Ammar & Levi with a special guest violinist are a trio of London's most exciting and creative musicians. Their inimitable style of Klezmer, traditional Jewish folk music, combines haunting violin, playful clarinet and rousing guitar to create a contemporary yet authentic take on the bittersweet melodies played at the turn of the 20th century in Eastern Europe. For this performance, Ammar & Levi present a programme that combines familiar Klezmer tunes with some of their own lively compositions.
