Details
Sarah is born deaf and can only communicate through sign language. She does not want to learn to speak for fear of drawing further attention to her disability. As her relationship develops with her tutor and they start to fall in love, he becomes increasingly desperate to hear the sound of her voice and more and more determined to break through the barriers preventing her from speaking.
