Chantry Dance Company presents an exhilarating evening of two compelling contemporary ballets. 'Vincent - a stranger to himself' is a dramatic ballet based on the life and loves of Vincent Van Gogh and pursues the man behind the self-portrait, yearning for affection, balancing genius with madness. The ballet explores the artist's relationship with the women in his life, as well as the relationship with his one true passion - his art. 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik' is set to Mozart's famous composition and offers you, as the audience, a unique experience. The ballet is especially designed to encourage you to feel that you can create your own interpretation of the imagery you are presented with. We invite the audience to become an active interpreter, rather than passive observer, and discover the excitement in feeling free to appreciate the ballet however you wish.
