Apples and Snakes presents performance poetry extravaganzas every other Friday in the BAC Cafe throughout the year. O'Ryan's Belt brings the lilt of the Emerald Isle to BAC Opera 2003 on 9 May. Traditional Irish music guarantees an exuberant evening, as award-winning writer Michael Donaghy performs his lucid, moving and witty poetry alongside fiddle virtuosos Peter Cooper.
