Telling their own stories is something that people with learning disabilities rarely get a chance to do. Dodeka Dance Company sets out to challenge the status quo with the creation of three new works in collaboration with dance artists Paula Hampson, Andrea Buckley and Ruth Spencer. Through a week in residence, Dodeka leads practical workshops, open rehearsals and talks that promise to push the boundaries of art for and by people with learning disabilities.
