Presenting work by York High School, Acomb Primary, Applefields School, Poppleton Road Primary, St.Barnabas CE Primary, Westfield Primary Community School and Woodthorpe Primary. All schools are part of ?The Learning and Performance Network' (LPN) that involves changing the way that young people experience and engage with the work of Shakespeare. Since 2006 the programme has worked with over 400 schools and this year there are six Regional Shakespeare Festivals happening across England. Over 900 primary and secondary aged pupils from Cornwall to Middlesbrough will be performing Shakespeare. Each school will be working from the same Shakespeare play that will tell a section of the complete story. Using ensemble approaches to storytelling it will be an evening packed with energy, passion and creativity.
