Gary Beestone and his collegue Zoe Snow will be talking about the world of production management and live events at tomorrow's Setting The Stage talk at Southwark Playhouse. Hear from these leading industry professionals who have worked on productions such as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and event such as the 2012 Olympics Victory Ceremonies and Secret Cinema. In this talk, Gary Beestone and Zoe Snow will go through the basics of production management and event planning and discuss how they are restructuring their entire business to adapt to the ever-changing guidelines and restrictions around live events. They'll touch upon why they decided to launch Gary Beestone Projects, a new arm of the business to deal specifically with the nuances of project managing complex events in the current climate and cover some of the previous projects they've worked on. They'll also chew over what they think this means for the live events industry as a whole and how it may change forever as a result of the current pandemic, as well as offering guidance on how to get into work and/or how to continue working in the live events sector in the present-day and the uncertain future. Places are socially distanced and therefore very limited. Only a few tickets remain so book now to avoid missing out!
