Late 19th century industrialisation brought interior decoration to the Victorian household. In this talk Dr Kathryn Ferry, author of ?The Victorian Home', explores how notions of good taste differed between the consumers' wish to display their new wealth and the elite designers who were advocates of the simplicity of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
