Jaan Kaplinski is a poet, novelist and essayist from Estonia, and already a Nobel Prize nominee. Marija Knezevic, Servian poet and translator, and Aleksander Prokopiev, short-story writer from Macedona, have both taken courageous public stands during the Balkans conflict. All three will be talking and reading from their work in English. Fiona Sampson, editor of the new Orient Express magazine, will introduce the evening.
