Peter Corry - Here Stands a Man archiveOriginally from Belfast, Peter Corry has performed internationally over the last 25 years with his unique voice and passionate and personal style always to the fore. A highly varied career to date has allowed Peter to pick up many interesting stories along the way that he'll share with you in his show, 'Here Stands A Man'. Receiving huge public acclaim when he sang at the funeral of the footballer George Best, he spent three years in the formidable role of Inspector Javert both in the West End and UK tour of Les Miserables. Peter has also performed as Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, Fagin in Oliver and Jamie in The Last 5 Years. Opera roles include Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, and Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte. When not singing and acting, Peter is also producing, directing, presenting and hosting his own shows, which have included The Peter Corry Show with BBC One Northern Ireland and several radio series for BBC Radio Ulster. Enjoying performing to more intimate audiences as much as he does, is what brings him to Crazy Coqs. So, join this wonderfully versatile singer as he embraces his many stories and styles, including musical theatre, opera, swing and the songs of his homeland.
