Al Murray - The Pub Landlord - Happy Hour archiveAl Murray is the pub landlord who holds forth on all manner of topics, waxing wide about the state of the world with all the skewed logic of a bar room philosopher. Anyone who has spent even the smallest amount of time in a pub will recognise these immaculate observations of British pub culture. Al Murray's Happy Hour is a brand new Saturday night peak-time comedy series starring multi-award-winner, AL MURRAY - THE PUB LANDLORD. This show follows his critically acclaimed and slot-winning Saturday night debut An Audience With Al Murray (ITV1), which achieved in excess of six and a half million viewers in 2005. This new series will see THE GUV'NOR 'interview' his favourite stars from the world of entertainment and showbiz (while undoubtedly offering some of his own notorious advice); a major music act will be 'allowed' to play a recent hit (under pressure to finish the show with a Queen song - THE GUV'S favourite band); and there will be the usual master-class of quick-fire interaction with members of the audience. This is your opportunity to be an integral part of the build up to the series. Every Sunday, the Pub Landlord will be showcasing the following week's show in an intimate London venue. The response from the audience will help shape the content of the subsequent broadcast. Al Murray - The Pub Landlord - Happy Hour website.
