John has appeared in Avalon's prestigious 'Comedy Zone' showcase at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival (following in the footsteps of Dave Gorman, Al Murray, Russell Kane and Ross Noble), as a guest presenter on BBC6 music's 'The Russell Howard Show' and 'Arthur Smith's Comedy Club' (ITV) and on BBC6 Music's 'The Jon Richardson Show'. When the love of his life decided he wasn’t the love of her life a new show formed. A show about coping with things, appalling luck with the ladies, how mad it is to turn 27, and the struggle to replace gin with joy. Winner of the Best Debut Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2009, and guest presenter on BBC 6 Music, John is the latest maverick to burst out of Bristol’s hotbed of comedy talent. He has stories to tell, banter to have, and bombs to drop. Skilfully weaving narrative, improvisation and punchy gags into his unique, self-effacing style, and described by festival newspaper Three Weeks as "the pinnacle of the show" at Edinburgh Fringe ‘08 John has quickly made a name for himself. WARNING: May contain scenes of mild heartbreak - no tears, just lots of laughs!
