The première concert performance of an exciting new piece of commissioned work by Will Gregory of Goldfrapp. The piece, ‘Suling Song’, written for gamelan and amplified Javanese zither, will be played alongside more traditional Indonesian music by the Bath Spa Gamelan Group. Led by Maria Mendonsa of the South Bank Gamelan Players, the group will perform small and large pieces in both loud and quiet style.
