Multi award winning saxophonist Bobby Wellins is a noted legendary figure in British jazz, having made his mark in the early Sixties with Stan Tracey and Ronnie Scott and later with Jim Mullen and Don Weller. He is also a respected composer and has led his own groups for many years performing his own material as well as his slant on jazz standards. With a career spanning fifty years, Bobby has played with many of the legends of British Jazz including Don Weller, John Dankworth and Ronnie Scott. With a sound that can stop you in your tracks, and in his seventy-fifth birthday year he presents a night of uplifting jazz.
