One of our very finest jazz vocalists, Claire Martin is equally at home with the songs of The Beatles, Nick Drake or Joni Mitchell as she is with the great jazz songbook. A voice that evokes and belongs with the greatest names in jazz. Claire will be performing her usual eclectic mixture of stylishly re-worked and much loved standards by Cy Coleman and Rodgers and Hart, alongside brand new original songs by Claire and bassist Laurence Cottle, Esbjorn Svenson, Michael Franks and Donald Fagan. As ever, Claire’s music remains strong, sassy and relevant.
